Jant as a public thought stream
Jant is the fast public layer of this workspace.
It is good for:
- short notes
- links worth saving
- quotes and annotations
- small project updates
- early versions of ideas
- field notes from running an AI workspace on an iPhone
Quartz plays a different role. It is not a replacement for Jant; it is the slower layer where selected thoughts become structured notes.
A useful default loop is:
- capture quickly in Jant or a private note
- notice what keeps coming back
- promote the useful parts into Quartz
- link back to the original stream when helpful
